3. Who we share them with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Hosting provider — running the server and backups.
- E-mail service provider — sending transactional e-mail.
- Accountant — bookkeeping and tax records.
- VIES (European Commission) — VAT ID validation. Only the VAT ID is sent, nothing else.
Data are not transferred to third countries beyond what running the services above entails, and are never sold.
4. How long we keep them
- Tax documents and the data on them: 10 years from the end of the tax period — this period is set by law and cannot be shortened, not even on request.
- Customer account and licences: for the term of the licence and 3 years thereafter, for possible disputes.
- Operational records (activations, downloads): 12 months.
Once the period lapses the account is anonymised; tax documents are retained to the extent the law requires.
5. Your rights
Customers have the right of access to their data, to rectification, to erasure (unless a statutory retention period prevents it), to restriction of processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Billing details can be corrected at any time in the customer portal.
